Osa Tourism Complex

A private estate or a boutique hotel consisting of 15 various sized rooms in 7 separate buildings scattered throughout 2 acres offering diverse opportunities for further development in various operational spheres, It has a very large main building with public facilities, reception, kitchen, dining area, bar, events area, gardens with plenty of walking paths including bridges and boardwalks that takes one over & through the property's mangroves. It's a five-minute walk to downtown Puerto Jimenez & is only 300 meters from the beach and boardwalk. Guests are guaranteed to see wildlife such as Scarlet Macaws, Monkeys, Toucans, Tanagers, Coatimundis & Kinkajous to name but a few of the common wildlife visitors to the property. Guests often say they see more wildlife at La Chosa than at any other location during their Costa Rica vacation. Visiting, is like stepping into a cross between a botanical garden & a zoo without cages.  Come & see for yourself! An absolutely amazing place that allows human beings to get up close to nature, but yet still be within the very center of a vibrant, functioning, tropical community. You must see it to appreciate it. The property reopened to the public in Feb of 2014 after being closed for ten years for personal use. This is truly a birders paradise. Guests don't even have to leave their room or cabin to see impressive Macaws, Toucans, Tanagers and many other varieties of exotic birds that visit the property.
